We have received the following information on the Norbury Clock and Watch Co. We do not have any information on this company and would appreciate any updates that anyone has.

Coments received :

The Norbury Watch and Clock was set up by my uncle Leonard Stanley Norman; the company: Norbury Clock and Watch, was set up before/during WW2 and manufactured instruments (altimeter etc) for aircraft I guess under licence for the War Dept, Air. After the war, like many other small clock makers, they purchased clock parts from J. Smith & Sons, Clerkenwell and other suppliers for the manufacture of clocks among which were small travel alarms (folding/encased). I have now located the factory which also had, on the main road, a retail shop, I believe run by Victor Norman also my uncle and his younger brother.
